Source has announced a collaboration with Siemens eMobility, a leader in DC charging technology, and Evolt Charging, one of the UK’s leading EV charging businesses, to deliver a unified operational and maintenance model across its growing UK and Ireland charging network.

As part of the collaboration, Siemens eMobility will supply high-performance charging hardware across an increasing number of Source sites. Evolt Charging will provide the field engineering capability to install, commission and maintain that hardware at scale, with engineers deployed across Scotland, England, Wales, and Republic of Ireland.

Central to the collaboration is Evolt Charging’s specialist field engineering capability, with its team already trained and accredited on Siemens eMobility equipment. This means Source has a single point of contact for all maintenance and repair activity across its network, regardless of charger type or location. As Source continues to add sites, Evolt Charging is expanding its pool of Siemens-trained engineers to keep pace.

The collaboration supports Source's ambition to maintain 99%+ uptime across its network, with Siemens eMobility available to provide specialist support when required and Evolt Charging managing day-to-day field operations as the network continues to expand.

Source currently operates ultra-rapid charging hubs across the UK and Ireland, with plans to deliver 300 by 2030. All hubs feature chargers of at least 150kW, with higher-powered options available across the network, all powered by renewable energy. Most EV drivers can add approximately 100 miles of range in around 15 minutes.

Deepa Chandrasekaran, Managing Director at Source, said:

“Charging infrastructure is only as good as the team keeping it running. By bringing together Siemens eMobility's hardware expertise and Evolt Charging's nationwide engineering capability, we have a model that means our customers can rely on our network wherever they are. That's not a small thing - it's the foundation everything else is built on. As we grow, maintaining that reliability is what will set Source apart. EV drivers and fleet operators need to know that when they pull up to one of our hubs, it will work. Partnerships like this are how we make that promise credible.”

Stephen Wood, Head of Siemens eMobility UK, said:

“Our collaboration with Source EV and Evolt Charging is built for scale and designed to deliver high uptime, reliable customer experience and operational excellence. Backed by a strong framework agreement, it demonstrates how strong alignment can accelerate the delivery of reliable, ultra-rapid charging that EV drivers can depend on. The first sites are already performing well, and we’re proud to support Source EV in setting high standards for uptime and customer confidence as their network continues to grow.”

Justin Meyer, Managing Director at Evolt Charging, said:

“This new partnership highlights what can be achieved when operators, hardware providers and service specialists align to deliver high-quality, reliable charging infrastructure at scale across the UK and Ireland.

“As a trusted and certified service provider to Source and Siemens hardware, we’re proud to support Source’s rollout through a fully integrated service and maintenance offering - from remote diagnostics and reporting through to nationwide field support. As networks scale across multiple hardware brands, our manufacturer-agnostic model gives operators the confidence of consistent service, compliance and driver support through a single trusted partner.

“We look forward to building on this partnership, with the strong collaboration already demonstrated between operational teams providing a solid foundation for continued success.”
